I am having exactly the same problem.

Glad that Avertek will do a 1-1 replacement if necessary but the centre is open only on weekdays and I can only go on weekends.

Seems like its it a common issue. My router's power button refuses to stay down.

Having the same issue on my RT-AC66u router.

Not sure what happened as the router have been on for the longest time and noone touched the power button.

I can on leave it on by pressing and holding the power button.

Is this a hardware or software fault?

Edit: looks like HW, the toothpick method works for now until I can bring it in to Avertek for service.

Quite a problem that Avertek does not operate on Saturday. I may need to rush there during my lunch hour.

Oh Asus, I'm loving the router but kinda surprised on such issue. I can probably count the number of times I pressed the power button since i got it and it failed less than 2 years.

Like someone said here, they will use 8 Nov 2015 as expiry date

Very fast even without receipt

Once the guy tested the power button, he whipped out a new router and sent me on my way...hahah

Couldn't find any info about bus services to the Kallang Avenue area. Looks like have to walk in for quite a distance from the nearest bus stop!! Any advice?
