Nope not expensive by Aussie standards. But the queue can be quite long. I usually make it a point to go to Perth once a year because I love the long drives and slow pace of life :o

Agree with you. Went Sydney last yr, the environment quite friendly, not as intense as here lol... People there doesnt walk very fast like we do lol ...

Sydney is the same as SG. Perth is totally different. Melbourne is in between.

Actually I find that people walk very slowly here in Singapore ;)
I seem to be continually 'blocked' by a slower person on the footpath here, whereas I don't get the same experience in Australia (in general).
I think it's even worse now in Singapore, with people hardly moving as they stare at their mobile phones.

Hi all,

May i ask where can i find the bus route for Transperth buses? I looked up on the website but cannot find any.

There is a bus stop opposite my apartment and i would like to look at the route that the bus goes to so that i can plan ahead.

Found THIS Transperth site which has overlay for the bus routes onto Google Maps.
Does that help?

There also seems to be a "Stops Near You" menu selection.

LOL... but I think you'd agree with my assessment, no? :)

Honestly, I don't know. I only know the people in Sydney walk fast. Melbourne not really. Perth is really slow paced and I seldom see people walking around :s13:

Went last oct to sydney by scoot, find their ppl dont walk very fast also lol... Only me and my friend we both walk fast hee. But things there are very expensive.

Sydney Fish Market
ONE lobster + 6 giant oysters + 6 giant prawn for 48 AUD
One lobster is 25 AUD
Mineral water 500ml at train station vending machine is 3.50 AUD
Coke 500ml at train station vending machine is 4.50 AUD

So we every meal eat subway, one 6inch roast beef + 500ml mineral water is 5 AUD, or mcdonald double cheeseburger for 2 AUD lol ...

Hi @dede1217, did you took the CONNECT bus to your hotel?
In the past, the bus will drop you off at your hotel, i understand that now they have selected drop off points.
Is this correct?

Thanks!

Perth Airport to Perth Ambassador Hotel
We took free shuttle bus to T3, thinking of taking bus 37 .
Eventually we took Connect Bus from airport, think they have 5 drop off points. We alight at the 5th one, which is outside Perth Ambassador.
15 Aud one way

Perth Ambassador Hotel to Perth Airport
We took bus 40 from bus stop outside hotel to T3.
Then from there, we took free bus to T1 , international aiprort
4.20 Aud one way ...

Sorry for hijacking the thread. Me and my friends are going rottnest island, just wanna find out whether booking the ferry tickets online or buying on the spot at the ferry terminal is cheaper? Because if online buying, the tickets for 3 in total is around 181aud for a to and fro journey and was wondering if got cheaper options?
