Mobile Hotspot Help

Hi, my blackberry died on me last week and i have been using my bro's HTC Sensation ever since. I was considering switching to a Android / iOS phone because of the internet tethering services. Thing is, i am still hooked on blackberry's keypad and i found out just today that Blackberry now offer the same service.

I am hyped about this and i have my concerns though. I am a starhub user, but i dont think i will be re-contracting with them cause a 1GB plan is certainly not enough for tethering. So i am considering signing up for Singtel's 12GB Bundled data plan.

My questions are :
1. Does Singtel allow BB users to tether their internet? (I found out that you need the APN username and password and stuff)
2. Does the 12GB of bundled plan cover tethering usage?

I did a search on the forum but just couldnt find the information that i need. i hope you guys can help!

Oh, but it says :" All BIS plans – tethering and usage of 3rd party internet browser such as OPERA will not be covered

BES $40/$63 Plan:
Everything is unlocked, except for tethering (refer to the screenshot seen above)"

That means tethering is not covered?

THats right. UNLESS:
BlackBerry Flexi Lite ($48.90) consists of 3G Flexi Lite ($39.90) + 3G BlackBerry Service ($9) which will be billed separately.
BlackBerry Flexi Value ($68.90) consists of 3G Flexi Value ($59.90) + 3G BlackBerry Service ($9) which will be billed separately.
BlackBerry Flexi Plus ($108.90) consists of 3G Flexi Plus ($99.90) + 3G BlackBerry Service ($9) which will be billed separately.
BlackBerry Flexi Premium ($214.00) consists of 3G Flexi Premium ($205) + 3G BlackBerry Service ($9) which will be billed separately.

which says u got normal data to cover u for everything else

ahhhh. i am damn lousy at all this. i cant quite understand.

alright, say if i get the BlackBerry Flexi Lite ($48.90) – consists of 3G Flexi Lite ($39.90) + 3G BlackBerry Service ($9).

and i tether it to my ipad for normal usage. i.e reading news. playing games and watching occasional youtube videos. Will i be in for a bill shock? Will my plan be sufficient to cover my usage?

REALLY SORRY ABOUT THIS!!

Truth to be told, noone here will have any idea to your question except for yourself - only you yourself will know your own data usage.
