If you want to improve FC, choose a 5w30 viscosity engine oil. Check your owner manual, always choose the lowest viscosity engine oil your book recommends.

  • API: SL/ CF, SJ, CD


API SL is 2 generation behind, current lastest spec are API SN, GF-5. Your 10w30 API SM version look better, is it a fully syn oil? which group base stocks does you reckon?

Hmm..... SL and SJ not really recommended for modern cars due to high Zinc content. It may damage the cat in the long run.

Good for older cars using flat tappets though.

No, and you have to change oild every 5K. If you need to pay for labour, it may end up the same.
