Buying old cars (left 1-2yrs) - car evaluation

Sometimes it's the fuel pump, sometimes it is the brake pump. My friend's lexus brake pump cost him $6k to replace.

I bought a 2 year left Altis before. Dealer let me send to workshop near his office. Actually any workshop also can check jap normal car.

Mechanics usually can tell if got accident or not. But then it’s Altis. Check or don’t check also like tat. Nothing really breaks down.

When i scrap, dealer help me and say the workshop wants my scrap gearbox n engine. Tats bloody toyota for u

In the past I bought cars that left with 3 to 6 mths left. It's troublesome but if you are lucky there won't be any breakdowns. But sometimes may need to change battery
