I have been sourcing for a Lancer this week and realized the price of an auto is much higher than manual... can be almost $100pm more

I understand that manual harder to driver / harder to get rid of in the future but the potential cost savings and better FC is really tempting

Any views???

If you intend to drive till 10 years, don't need to care about resale value.

If you are going to get Lancer, you should get the manual. Tried driving my friend's auto Lancer and it felt rather under-powered. Didn't get the same problem when I was learning to drive on my instructor's manual Lancer. So at least for Lancer: Manual > Auto.
