i replaced my vios original alternator at less from sgd$300 from jb

I got mine replace in JB at SG$365 with genuine Toyota parts. Dont replace at Autobac or Autosaver. They rip you off....

Assuming your car battery is relatively new, he should actually measure the charging voltage across the battery when the car is idling. The charging voltage should measure higher than 13.5V. If lower, confirm charging system is not charging the battery well. It is likely a alternator problem, but, can be other issue.

Just open the hood, listen to car start and then diagnose as alternator problem is kind of unbelievable.
