FC is very much depending on whether you drive it more on the highway or zoom around city more.

So, practically and technically, the feedback on FC from different drivers might not be as accurate as it should be!

However, my 2015 Mazda 6 is surely a heavier drinker than my old Mazda 3 and the same should apply to the 2015 Mazda 3.

I think the problem with your mz6 is central to you only. Don't sway all the others. Majority in the mz3 and mz6 thread already post their fc and it's very much close to the rating given. Just cos your fc is cui doesn't mean all e others is. Must be the way you drive, try changing it around.

With the skyactiv and yours is a heavy drinker compared to the older version, I think your car spoil Liao and needs to be checked, either that or the driver is spoilt,

Hmmm... Possible coz I drive a lot of short routes. A lot of stops, parked, starts in repeatation days in, days out in city and urban areas except between home and office.

Imagine that from Monday to Saturday...my Mazda 6 needs to drink more whisky to stay sober.

I don't drive in that pattern when I was still driving my old Mazda 3...

Hmmm... That's interesting but I'll still suggest you to check at the 1k servicing. 10l/km simply means more than 10l/km when someone raise up such claims. I've seen 8.x and it's city driving already. Just to make sure bro, no harm checking. Cos the more stops you have, you have I stop to mitigate that so shouldn't be that bad...

Or maybe cos the ieloop that's the prob? That is not present in mz6 luxury...

I have already stocked up Indomee and Mei Ling luncheon meat for the next 10 years' consumption liao!
Actually think about it. Pump full tank 95 is around $90 per week. I makan meals per day say $10 per day ($5 each for lunch and dinner), one week $70 nia (grass sashimi even cheaper).

My car has better life than me!

Seems to me like car and driver both ok, just that driving pattern changed.

The new Mazda skyactiv engine works best at constant cruising speed. Frequent stops and accelerations need to overcome the inertia, hence not fantastic for FC.

True!

You have not included the side dishes yet for your Mazda 6. The parking fees!
