Want pump with empty tank in JB legally drive a diesel, else not worth the risk, time and worries. Kena 1 time not only fine+go office but “You-Turn back NOW!” and pay again toll.

the law is there for a reason, and that's to protect SG's petrol industry.

got car want to drive just pay the petrol money. ask yourself why u wanna drive in the first place (benefits) and ask yourself if it's worth the money (cost). compare the cost and benefits and if you think the cost does not outweigh the benefits, then sell your car.

Individual preference. Follow or go against. There is no need to further debate on this. There is always ppl from both side of the camp.
