For others who answered, YES!!!! I agree VW car is overpriced with premium about ave of 30% but car value is only about the same as most Jap car.

There are third party reputable shops that does VW/Audi like HAT (Horizon Auto Tuners). Servicing dates waiting time are approx 1 month.

The problematic batch of 7 speed dsg clutch is from 2 years ago batch and has been rectify already. Those affected were given extended warranty.

But I got to say the 7 speed dsg twin charged 1.4 is bloody good!

i love the volkswagen jetta 1.4 turbo....imo dam solid man compare to other 1.6 cars....its has 160hp and iirc 8.5 0-100......waiting to see hows the new 2011 jetta...phaeton looking haha...hope my parents change!!! another thing is continental car is big, coz im very tall

my bro who is more than 1.8m finds it difficult to get into my Jetta backseat

What you heard is correct. Basically you have to play for the car do not develop some major problem. Part waiting time is long.

In general, if you ask those second hand car dealer. They will tell you if you want to buy European car, Get those with M and sometime B brand. Not some much on B brand as it also start for Bring Me Worry - hard to get repair outside agent.
