I have decided to compile the locations of speed trap/check been contributed by fellow HWZoners here. I will try my very best to update this thread as frequent as possible. But at the same time, fellow HWZoners can help contribute to the thread as well.

How to contribute:

You can state near any landmark (eg. coffeeshop, school or shopping centre), along which road? heading towards where? Camping overhead bridge or its cameras mounted?

For easy viewing, i will be using short form as describe below:


PPST = Potential Permanent Speed Trap
PST = Permanent Speed Trap (Cameras are mounted on overhead bridge)
COT = Cop On Top (TP camping in overhead bridge)

Speed trap locations:

1) PPST - Holy Innocents High School (Overhead Bridge) along Upper Serangoon Road heading towards Sengkang. (No Speed trap as of 01/06/12)

2) PPST - Opposite Holy Innocents High School (Overhead Bridge) along Upper Serangoon Road heading towards City. (No Speed trap as of 01/06/12)

3) PST - The Alexier Building (Overhead Bridge) Near Cycle & Carriage showroom along Alexandra Road heading towards IKEA Queensway. (Removed as per 01/06/12)

4) ECP (Changi) below flyover after marina parade (contributed by missyevo)

5) COT - Nicoll Highway Towards Suntec City (Contributed by Yellowman)

6) COT - Starting of Lornie Road (Toward PIE) (Contributed by goodhusky)

7) COT - starting of Adam road (Toward Farrer Road) (Contributed by goodhusky)

8) COT - Upper Changi Road East (Outside Expo) (Contributed by goodhusky)

9) COT - S11 Coffeeshop along Hougang Ave 3 heading towards to AMK

10) COT - AMK ave 5 towards Sengkang near AMK tech 2 (Contributed by Berlo84)

11) COT - Along Tampines Ave 1 (Outside and Opposite Temasek Polytechnic) (Contributed by Darkmatt and Icyheart)

12) COT - Chua Chu Kang both directions along Bricklands road

13) COT - Before Stevens Road exit PIE(Tuas), there is an overhead bridge.

14) COT - KJE towards PIE/Tuas . Overhead-bridge just after CCK exit . before the Bend. (Contributed by domdomino)

15) COT - Mandai Road towards Mandai Ave along Mandai Camp and Singapore Zoo, both directions (Contributed by NovJoe)

16) COT - Route from PIE (Clementi Avenue 6) to AYE after the underpass on the overhead bridge (Contributed by rabies)

17) COT - Route from Upper Bukit Timah to the fly over Ngee Ann Poly. There are a few overhead bridge but be cautious of the second one. (Contributed by solelabel)

How are they going to book the drivers when the test cars belong to the respective dealer?

overhead bridge.

be very careful. as the bridge is partially hidden by a huge tree, by the time u travel and see the bridge, you will already be caught. a lot of ppl got caught in that spot liao.
