The to/fro timings for Shenzhen is terrible though. Macau is still okay.

tiger is the only budget airline that flies to shenzhen direct rite ?
know air macau and tiger flies direct to macau ...
think air macau only fly 2x per week to macau ...

Not Air China. It's Shenzhen Airlines, codeshare with Air China, operated by Shenzhen Airlines.

China Airlines is a Taiwanese airline.

Yeah it seems alot of people are confused between China Airlines (CI) and Air China (CA), 2 different airlines.

Yep, China Airlines is the flag carrier of Taiwan. They just upgraded their Business class seats not long ago so their product is up to date. I have not taken them since I was a kid, hope to take them and see the new 'Star Trek' flight attendants uniform (Star Trek fan).

No way for me to take business class without breaking the bank.... I got no miles in SkyTeam...

Just like to point out that in Chinese, China Airlines is 华航, whereas Air China is 国航, at least to their respective home clientele.

My next trip to Japan would be either January and/or February 2016. May redeem miles on SQ and/or NH or buy MH business class.

I got no upcoming flights unfortunately, nothing planned. You can check my flight history here. If I have anything booked, I would update it.

Thanks for the info, I only know the following:

GuoTai = Cathay Pacific
GangLong = Dragonair
NanHang = China Southern
DongHang = China Eastern

I've taken the above airlines before except Dragonair.

Unfortunately I can't read/write Chinese :( but my conversational skills have improved alot over the years.
