have to buy english version if you want english subtitles. japanese version everything is in japanese.

There are 2 versions on PSN store. One of them is Chinese ver, the other is not stated.

Judge Eyes is Jap, whereas Judgement is worldwide. Although there is no Judgement in PSN store. Thus i’m kinda thinking the Judge Eyes (Jap) might have eng subs.

The Japanese version and Chinese version ("Judge Eyes") came out last year (Dec 2018) but was removed from the store voluntarily by Sega (Mar 2019) when one of the supporting actors was arrested for drug use. They then edited his character model (but retained the voice) and reissued the game recently (Jul 2019). This reissued version has a reduced price (they call it "new price edition"), so it's cheaper.

The English version ("Judgment") also came out recently (Jun 2019) with the same changes. It's available on US and EU stores, at typical full price of US$60 (currently on sale at 35% off) and on Aisa store at SGD 80 (link).

Note "Judgment" is spelled without the "e", so you might have searched wrongly.

there is judgment in asia psn store. judge eyes japanese do not have english subs and it will be difficult to understand the story. the story is more complex than yakuza story.

somehow i feel judge eyes title is more suitable than judgment. wonder why they left out the "e".

"Judgement" and "Judgment" are both valid spellings. I think Americans use "judgment" more often, maybe a US/UK thing.

"Judgement" is in fact the older spelling, but it dropped from favor and for centuries "judgment" was the only spelling to appear in dictionaries. That changed when the OED (Fowler's source) was published showing "judgement" as an equal variant. Today, "judgment" is more popular in the U.S., whereas both spellings make a good showing in Britain.
