Singpost gone.. This card also reduced to nothing much..
:(

Just concentrate earn miles on women's card for online spending..

Edit : lucky still can use this card for dining

Can spend up to $600 per month online, considered "nothing much" meh?

That should be enough for most months, unless you're buying big ticket items

Wanted to ask if this card ever gives cash credit for new signups or freebies at roadshow?

Can somebody advise if the rebate entitlement is based off credit card transaction dates or book keeping dates as stated in their online statement?

Based on transactions that are posted (aka book kept) in the billing cycle (aka statement month)

Just signed up dbs live fresh to complement this card.

I guess good enough

Live Fresh min. spend $700 per month, this card $500 per month. Every month gotta make sure you hit at least $1,200 per month.

You buy so many things online ah?

So this means total family rebate still 100, of which max 30 for online and remaining 70 for other rebates?

Eg: spending 600 on online + 1000 on dining will still get 30 rebate for online + 70 rebate for dining for a total of 100 family rebate each month?

Contactless transaction also count for rebate, not only online. For DBS live fresh

True, but he said to "complement" the BOC Family card which I assume means he intends to use the two together. I guess his spending patterns would work, but not everyone spends $1,200 every single month so was just pointing that out :)

It's stated that the Family Cash Rebate for online purchases is capped at $30. So theoretically the $30 rebate for online spending should be referring to the 4.5% family cash rebate and the base 0.5% rebate should still be calculated separately.

Below is my understanding for a $666 online spending (pending confirmation by BOC):

1. Base rebate of 0.5% = $666 x 0.5% = $3.33

2. Family Rebate of 4.5% = $666 x 4.5% = $29.97

3. Total Rebate = $3.33 + $29.97 = $33.30

new total should capped at $30. i spent more than $2000 last month and i first received $11.08 and later $88.92.

in your case, it is because:
"The total Family Cash Rebate is capped at S$100 per Card Account per billing cycle."

yes, precisely my point.

the cap given is for both base and family combined. someone was hypothysing when the new cap becomes $30, he could get more than $30.
