More interested in how to get a 100k bill. Your credit limit must be in the hundreds of thousands.

If can use only 1 card, the following give 1.6miles/$. First 2 require non-waivable annual fee.
1. Citi Ultima. Annual fee $3888+GST
2. DBS Insignia. Annual fee $2000+GST
3. UOB Priv Miles Amex. 1.8 M/$ for first 50k (including 20k miles bonus for first $50k spent), and 1.4M/$ for next 50k. ie 1.6M/$ for $100k spend. Annual fee waivable.

If
1. Don't apply for new card, use Priv Miles visa/master at 1.4M/$
2. Can use multiple cards, consider the numerous recommendations on this website for wedding banquets, using combination of SCB Manhatten, Amex TCB, and signon bonus frm DBS Altitude etc.

Hope this helps.

I thought merchant should be quite flexible to spilt the big payment to multiple cards. If it's possible, this will be the best to max the benefits

You can always top up first to jack up limit

BTW : since it is about credit limit - i am always curious what is the max credit limit for standard customer (non private banking)

I thought for most bank it stands at $100K

Thanks for the all advice.
I'm buying some insurance policy.
Unable to spilt with multiple credit cards.
Yes, I will top up to 100k in order to make the payment.
Looks like most of the cards are abt 1.2miles/$
Most probably use Citibank Coz most of my miles are with Citibank.

Please check with the bank.... even if your credit limit after top up is 100k, there might be a per transaction limit......

And better check if can earn points. Some card dont grant points for insurance. Anz will be safer for this.
