The free gift was to spend 3.5k. Not 3k.

told u all along. 2% vs 3.33% where 3.33% is so mafan. unless u can every mth pay fixed amount from the uob cc then its easy to manage. if not the hassle is not worth it.
Realize that I forgot to ask a question

If I use xtrasaver, the 2% rebate is only there when I do RETAIL transactions? So for tele bills and spservices and ezlink they don have rebate? Also I can only pay my other banks cc bill by xtrasaver nets on axs machine?

>>> anything that uses the 16digit for payment aka mastercard in this case.

>>> dont pay either of this. spservices ppl say can sign up giro using ur 16digit or even counter? ezlink unless u use the auto reload feature or even online top up? i think ez reload through other cc yield higher rebate like hsbc revo card.

Also I can only pay my other banks cc bill by xtrasaver nets on axs machine?
>>> yes, just go axs under bill payment, find the bank. input manual or swipe the card on the axs n pay via scb xtrasaver nets.

yes any 3rd party site including merchant terminal to use xtrasaver mastercard is 2%. unless scb is able to detect the certain merchant/payment is not entitle to the cashback which i got no clue for that.
