First thing, sorry for my bad grammar. Abit long winded here please bare with me. here how the story goes:
It happened today, when i turn up for my appointment for my 3/4th session of facial cleaning. The first few session was handle by the same facialist. where today turn to be another lady. at first i couldn't tell if is the same facialist as i didn't turn up for quite some time.
Anyway, during the session. This lady just did a simple wash up of my face and perform the white/black heads extraction. half way of the extraction on my forehead, she mention about "oil bubbles(oil clog)" that live in the face inner layer skin which can't be extract using ordinary extractor "a kind of portable electric scraper". Require some kind of so call "laser equipment" to get rid of it.
She also mention the shop is now having promotion at:-
"Since now is promotion, would i proceed?" she asked.
In my mind, since it's a promotion why not give a try since only $20. therefore i agreed.
Doing my face halfway, she prepare the equipment and proceed with the removal for the oil clog. While holding a mirror facing myself. she start the remove the first one and show me how it removed. at the same time she was counting the numbers one after another one. On the 31 oil clog(upper part of my face), she stopped and tell me since now is 31($620/-) would you like to sign for package for $1200/- with additional 5 session of facial cleaning?
i was shocked! and wasn't aware $20 is for each clog!
thereafter she keep going with her sales talk. but am just really upset i ask her to stop rapping. she then proceed with the mask on my face quickly and left the cubical.
until time, she wash my face and we proceed to the cashier. with abit of argument with the price of $620. i give up and gave her my credit card and made payment and walk off.
$620 to all it might not be huge figures but the gap between 20 and 620 until now it still burning in my brain as well my pocket.
Lesson i learned from the price i made:-
- Any treatment should discuss on the table with the price chart instead of in the middle of the session.
- Do not agree any addition offers from what you have
