Pop up Beach @ the Promontory@Marina Bay from Jun 13 to 14.

Complete with a pool, palm trees and a beach bar.

28,000kg of sand will be brought in and that is expected to take up to 300 man-hours.

All this just for 2 days?

DBS bank is just too rich. Besides employing the highest paid CEO in Singapore (>$10m/ yr), they also pay peanuts on heart lander's savings accounts (0.05% p.a.)... Now they want to create a temporary beach with 28,000kg of sand... Wonder what is the costs and carbon emissions of the exercise...

Shame on DBS, shame on bankers who care not about the environment...
