Maybe its all up to God to be the judge because PAP moral standards have gone so low, that what Kong Hee did isn't considered criminal anymore...

Once again, 'It's an honest mistake: let's just move on... '...:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

>>90% or so seats (excluding the bogus PAP-NMP and consolation-NCMP seats) in parliament are PAP coat-tails- yes men occupied... so who else is there to factually blame ah?

The greater the delay, the greater the suggestion that the Singapore criminal justice system is a sham and a fraud.

Court of appeal (3 judges) result will be out in approx 8 hours.
My suspicion is that KH 8 yrs will either remain or be INCREASED because recently also, PAP gahmen (K Shanmugam) is on campaign against FAKE news... KH is guilty of similar issue: that of presenting FAKE $$$ accounts to the congregation in order to siphon church building funds towards the striptease music video production for his beloved wifey...
Not taking any bets but dis is my guess:...

SINGAPORE - Fake news is increasingly becoming an issue not just abroad but on Singapore shores.

Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam in Parliament on Monday (April 3) said the Government is reviewing how to combat fake news, as current laws are limited in tackling the problem. He was responding to questions from MPs on whether existing laws for dealing with false news would be strengthened.

The Government will announce its position when the review is completed, said Mr Shanmugam, who added that fake news can have real consequences, causing harm to Singaporeans, creating unnecessary alarm and diverting emergency resources from where they are legitimately needed.

Looks like I'm wrong for now, see if the 3 appeal judges explanation is acceptable:

3 High Court judges’ explanation for City Harvest leaders’ reduced jail terms, explained
April 7, 2017
Angry over their reduced sentences? Read the High Court's judgement first.

Jeanette Tan

You know the most important facts: The six City Harvest convicts are still convicts, but the High Court reduced their jail sentences, which are slated, for all except Sharon Tan, to begin on April 21 (two weeks’ time).

Pending the submission of questions of public interest to the Court of Appeal on the part of any of them, of course.

In a 13-page oral judgement delivered on Friday morning to a packed courtroom, with more than 50 others milling outside hoping to catch a glimpse of what was going on inside, two of the three-man panel of High Court judges decided they weren’t convinced by the case made by prosecutors in their appeal to increase the jail sentences for them.

These extracts from it, which we try to break down for you, will help to explain where the two of them, at least, were coming from:... ...
