Best place to buy a DSLR
My dad is looking for a Nikon d300. Where is the best place in Singapore to buy a digital SLR? |

i suggest MS color at amk. Great service. I got my d200 from there.

You should not be paying more than $2700 for the D300 body.

Suggest you give all known camera shops a phone call. Note down the salesperson's name and his quoted freebies and price (incl. of GST! Dunno why some still quote without it).

Be aware that the camera is out of stock in most places. Parisilk managed to get me one in about 3-4 days after I put my name on their waiting list. Cathay Photo advised stock availability in mid-Dec, but you DO need to be on their waiting list too. Call and get on it now - there's no cash commitment required to get onto either list. Both stores will sell you the D300 for around $2700 including GST.
