I'm using a civic fd1. Mid 400plus weekly.
Spacious good drive. But the fuel consumption is the killer.

huat ish da meaning of minimum trips stated by rental companies?
so far i've come across a few rental companies with different t&c..

1. They offer contract 6mth - 1yr these cars are usually cheaper rate. Quite good benefit if you can commit.

2. They offer good rate, contract are 3-6mths long, not as much benefit as no.1 and you are required to do like minimum 40 trips/week or else penalty imposed.

3. No contract. Slightly higher rates.

Note, some companies don't require you to register with ACRA as you will be driving for them instead of your own name.

got business anot ?!?!?!

everyday can earn how much ?!?!?!

1 month how much u earn ?
A decent living is do-able.

More hours and effort you put in higher chance to earn more. But also means higher cost. Sometimes depends on skill experience and luck too. Don't buy in to their 5k monthly rubbish.

5k in fares minus their commission of 20percent left with 4k.

Minus rent and petrol 4k-3k left with 1k. Marketing gimmick

why so discriminating? Anyway is grabtaxi or grabcar same requirement? must be 1.5l and above?
Grabtaxi is for taxi to sign up.

Grabcar (and Uber) is for those intending to use private cars.

Sorry, should be 1.4l and above. I have corrected my post.

Make sure when renting look out for important factors.

Price
Contract duration. Shorter the better
Workshop support
Breakdown support
Accident insurance excess

The issue with small cars is the space constraint. Some customers have big baggage for airport trips or kids with prams. So if they can't fit their stuff in your car then it's time wasting for both parties. I would suggest get a mid size sedan with good drive. You'll be happy driving it and crappy cars are just gonna put you out of mood.
I agree.

My car is a small hatchback. Small luggage space. I don't dare to take jobs from airport.

Stationary you would also receive jobs.

I'm stating a scenario such as for example on a Friday midnight. Pax drop off at jurong West. I would prefer to drive back down slowly towards town than to camp and stay put waiting for customers at jurong West. But of course each driver got their style and tactics. Time is money and I hate to sit around waiting for things to happen hahaha
