Not really need ba... interest lo. Its also good to learn, can work with my degree...

Learning from codeacademy.
Thanks! Coz most of the jobs I'm looking for requires knowledge of python. Good to learn when I have the time.

Now also learning VBA and SQL. Siong man...

VBA and SQL are terms frequently thrown around in ads... maybe take them up also ba. C#, Java... maybe.

this kind of timing still gotta work/ trial and error testing before implementing on production system..............

Ya, actually C++ and java are also mentioned as preferred or good to have. Zzz... Learn so many languages, learn until siao.

It's good to learn these when we have the time. Will come in handy later.

Japanese and Korean I know a bit only. Learn them out of interest. Some jobs require fluent Japanese / Korean. Next time got time then learn.

Just start work 2 weeks kena sai kang sia, not that I dont mind but I scared because the sai kang work take one day plus to finish n i really scared they nvr teach me anything then manager ask me idk.

Risk management, fixed income, derivatives, quant, etc... Just to name a few lor... Basically financial engineering related.

Requires you to know damn lots of stuffs, math like stochastic calculus, finance, programming like matlab, VBA, SQL, python, R, C++, Java...

Risk management, fixed income, derivatives, quant, etc... Just to name a few lor... Basically financial engineering related.

Requires you to know damn lots of stuffs, math like stochastic calculus, finance, programming like matlab, VBA, SQL, python, R, C++, Java...

Moi got Degree in Banking and Finance.
Diploma in IT, know C++, Java, VBA, SQL, Programming.

But still end up in doing Compliance Operations Saikang.

I'm now studying financial engineering masters in nus. There's a lot of opportunities around in the job portal. Just that they all require at least 1 year experience. So finding a job that accepts fresh grad.

If not, I can also try finding jobs from US. This field is quite sought after over there.

Banking and finance a bit different from financial engineering. My prof told me what we are learning even most of the profs from finance don't know.
