Another Scary Shxt Window Incident - This time, SCDF officers rescue woman sitting on window ledge

A hysterical woman sitting on the ledge of her 4th floor flat was rescued by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers last Friday.

The incident, which was reported on citizen journalism website Stomp, took place at about 5.30pm last Friday evening at Blk 264B Compassvale Bow.

Officers were alerted to the incident and found the woman sitting on the window ledge of her bedroom. A safety net was set up and SCDF officers quickly brought the woman to safety.

The woman refused to be taken to the hospital after being rescued, SCDF said in a statement - ST
