IIRC the flames are from treasure box dropped after killing EB. Not sure why the prices fluctuate so much.

Probably.

I think maplesea is manipulating it also. Since during the ban saga everyone complain why never catch botters, they maybe rise the price to "punish" players and justify why they never catch botters.
