not sure if its allowed, but this is much more fun than normal RC planes as it can stay in the air for 1.5hrs!

More on the Chinese Sky-09 drone

if it does not have hpv goggles etc, then you will be tired from straining to keep your eye on the plane after about 10mins.

This is interesting. I am just starting to pick up hobby aircraft.

Is there any locally based interest group or forum which I can find out more info from?

yes it is haha. but I want something similar as a model plane due to its endurance. normal rc planes have a really long recharge time and very short air time

I play a bit rc plane.

I have one that can fly close to an hr with easy flying. Strap on a bigger batt, and you can go way more than an hr.

But if you fly aggressive, of cos batt drains fast lah.

Generally rc pilots have multiple batts on hand, and some even do charging on the field via their car batt.

A mid end charger is able to charge mutiple batts at one go. Typical charging time is well below an hr.
