Singapore's biggest job fair, Career 2012, returns this year to an expected turnout of over 250,000 visitors. In addition to providing a platform for public and private sector employment opportunities, the free fair showcases educational offerings from local and overseas institutions and training workshops.

Held at Suntec Singapore from March 1-4, the annual event will showcase 250 participating organisations from over 10 countries, and offer 30,000 job vacancies and 30,000 course placements.

New highlights of the exhibition include '21st Century Competencies Workshops and Activities', which equips job seekers with skills in image building, interview techniques, entrepreneurship tips and personal branding through the use of social media.

The postgraduate pavilion, which offers guidance and information for those seeking to upgrade their academic qualifications, and the tourism careers pavilion are making their first-time appearance at Career 2012 as well.

Mostly are conquered by those insurance and property agencies.

• Gahmen (MOE, hospitals, etc)

same template every year.

I arrived @ the entrance, ended up did not go in, because I saw more education stuff than companies from the entrance view. Somemore, those companies are very huge one, low qualification candidate high chance can't get any job offers.

So, to me I felt its a waste of time too.
