SINGAPORE – 12 June 2012 – Maxi-Cash Financial Services Corporation Ltd (“Maxi-Cash” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), a provider of financial services in the form of pawnbroking and the retail and trading of pre-owned jewellery and watches, today launched its initial public offering (“IPO”) in respect of 56,000,000 New Shares at S$0.30 each, in conjunction with its listing on Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the “SGX-ST”). Canaccord Genuity Singapore Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as Collins Stewart Pte. Limited) is the Sponsor, Underwriter and Placement Agent for the IPO. The IPO will close at 12.00 noon on 20
June 2012, while the listing and trading of Maxi-Cash Shares is expected to commence at 9.00 am on 22 June 2012.

The IPO consists of a placement tranche (the “Placement”), as well as an offer to the public in Singapore (the “Public Offer”). The Placement size is 53,750,000 Shares and the Public Offer size is 2,250,000 Shares (together, the “IPO Shares”). The IPO Shares represent 18.9% of the Group’s enlarged share capital of 296,000,000 Shares immediately post-IPO.

*DIVIDEND PAYOUT
The Directors intend to recommend and distribute atleast 60.0% (including scrip dividends) of the Group’s net profits attributable to Shareholders as dividends for FY2012 subject to the factors outlined below and in the section entitled “Dividend Policy” of the Offer Document as well as other factors deemed relevant by the Directors:
(a) the level of the Group’s cash and retained earnings;
(b) the Group’s actual and projected financial performance;
(c) the Group’s projected levels of capital expenditure and expansion plans;
(d) the Group’s working capital requirements and general financing conditions; and
(e) restrictions on payment of dividends imposed onthe Group (if any).
