yes, maybe and i dont know which is more prime.

but the point is my friend just went to view houses in bedok and still ppls there selling at around $40K COV. and is recently only.
Bedok and clementi are matured housing estates with good amenities, but it's location is nowhere as good as Bishan Toa payoh kallang tiong bahru area.

Problem is many people are thinking llike you and there are still many with cold hard cash in the bank. When prices drop a bit more, they are going to SNAP it up.

Just sell back to hdb, that will be enough. Make it a rule, immediately, price will plunge

old tricks..

I sell my item.. at first I sell for $100, no one buy cos they say expensive..

So I then sell for $150 but I say discount $50 ==> $100 everyone buying cos they say wow. discount so much har

5 years ago, 5 rm resale valued at $450k, COV $20k ==> $470k

Now, 5 rm resale valued at $500k, COV = 0 ==> $500k

everyone says wow.. resale price dropping.,.. quick go buy

Loan curbs so ppl cannot buy.

It may be a sign of a worsening economy too
Nothing is permanent. Wait till it lao sai like **** then can go in. Wait for 1 more year. 2015 pappy will say economy is good and houses chiong again. How to make money : buy when everyone else is selling. Sell when everyone is chionging to buy.

I don't see it as awesome news. This is the way it should be and perhaps even lower.

The original concept of HDB was never really for anyone to speculate but to have a decent roof over the heads of hardworking people. Those who wants to speculate can go into the private sector and speculate all they want.

Unfortunately, things went wrong halfway and resulted in the common folks having to buy and sell sky high over-valued flats.

Reduction of COV is now making headlines. In my opinion, headlines like these should not even have existed or appeared in the first place.

It's too little and too late anyway ! But hey better then nothing !

So........ nobody can say the government NEVER listen to anyone ah ! RIGHT ?!? Lol !
