Ok I check with my ex colleague and let you know again. But what I know is that he does not go to any fixed store, he will walk around and find or his jap colleagues will bring him go find lol.

The one he got with discount is called Treasure Store, and another place he went to but expensive is call G Store I think. But super wide selection of Gs from rare to run of the mill. But rare ones or new models super ex I think.

Price seems reasonable but need to factor in shipping and also your credit card exchange rate charge. I bought a G Shock before on rakuten did not really find it that cheap so now I get my ex colleague to get it for me at their retail shops instead. Some retail shops give discount of 20% even for new limited models.

My ex-colleague got his rising red frog at the retail price of approx. SGD 653 in japan then the shop has 20% discount, in the end he only paid SGD522 for the rising red frog......
Yea... as a rule of thumb.. the foreign amount u change it into SGD.. add an additional 5% to it. and if it is above SGD400. do not forget to add GST (something I always forget to factor in)

tsetse.. do u think it's possible to get a GWF1000 for under SGD500 new? lol...

Can anyone tell me how to read a G-Shock watch model? I got confused by something which I hope someone in here can enlighten me.

What is the difference in the below example?

GW-5000-3ER

vs

GW-5000-3JR

By no means are they real model, it is just an example.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between 3ER and 3 JR?

You can google this. But from the top of my mind w/o looking it up:

GW - multiband model
5000 - square model
3 - colour
ER/JR/DR - country of release

Yeah man, so I try not to buy there unless my friend cannot find. But online shopping is very addictive too, I always lose control lol. Hmmm Im not sure, GF still possible, slightly more than SGD500 can get but GWF aka Multi-Band 6 seems quite impossible unless used but still very difficult. Which froggy you aiming Dammie? Share share la hee hee

There are a few, DR, CR, ER and JF.

DR is Asia Pac, including Singapore.
CR is United States and Canada
ER is Europe
JF is Japan
