According to Chinese papers Zaobao, three unnamed government ministries are currently assessing a new software to monitor online comments. The new software, called SentiMo (short for sentiments monitoring), is designed by government agency, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star), and will likely be implemented by 2018.

The Singapore government will use the software to monitor sentiments of online comments, which is also claimed to be capable of detecting sarcasm. According to government research scientist Raj Gupta, the margin of error is 4% and the result will be useful to the organisations which are concerned about its public image.

It is unknown the extent of monitoring the new software is capable of, but a profiling of online commentators and taken legal actions against Singaporeans is likely on the card. The Singapore dictatorship is especially concerned with image and has taken countless lawsuits against its own citizens for expressing opposition opinion.

I SUSPECT AWARE will come out defend for her ...wait say " Bias on Female is it cannot become President in SG " to change the subject , on is Halimah basically really is qualify as a Pure Malay candidate since this PE is reserve for Malay.

Again let's be clear,

Malay = Race

Muslim = Religion

if a person is an Indian Muslim , is he/she Malay in the first place? whereby Dad is an Indian.

hmmm this is why all these debate still continue , etc

Since Gov want to reserve for Malay since every long we don't have a Malay President, Every one does agreed no doubt but is Gov the way they process is totally a Question marks.

The sarcasm detector URL was posted here before and appears to be a complete failure IIRC

Which may explain why the higher mortals in their ivory towers seem to see the world differently...

Thought AWARE already got press release that they were disappointed by how things turned out?
