as usual, before anything he has already refute he is wrong, he fails to realize it is not the quarrel, but he himself is the problem.

you all remember how he handled the argument in parliament about mas selamt case? when KBW was being grilled?

i do not believe that he will be truthful about his intentions, and he will continue to hoodwink all singaporeans.

my points which i think he WILL fail to achieve
1) respect his own dad LKY will
2) have a proper answer about why he "bully" LWL.
3) a proper answer why he say LHY/SF "doctored" LKY will, when in fact, it end up same as previous will. why he labelled LHY/SF in a criminal way when in fact, it was STILL LKY will.
4) why he pressured LKY to change the will
5) his explaination of his "special committee" vs a legal will
LKY changed his will, for his own reason, LHL changed the government to counter that purpose/reason, wow WTF?

im very sure a very cool new smoke screen will be manufactured, and sadly all will be forgotten, just like how he stopped all the questioning of KBW during mas selamat case.

i hope everyone understand, the monumental "object" in all of this is LKY, not LKY's house. a monuments act or law is BS, since even our textbook can be altered to sound right in their own smelly eyes, what else can they NOT do to make themselves look good?

what bloody koyok will they "sell" to us USING the power and adulterated image of government and parliament this time.

LKY did quite alot to shield us from LHL actually, LHL did not learn anything, he is still the same person who slapped dhanabalan ... well of course he is.
Bro, your KBW during mas selamat case is ?

two shortie leh ? WKS or KBW ?

There are 2 misrepresentations in this chart.

First, the committee, is not a 'secret' committee. The word 'secret' only caught on when Mr. Lee H Y used it frequently.

In fact, it was clarified and should be familiar to many higher-ranking civil servants, i assume, that a number of committees of various matters exist.

And not all have to be listed to Singaporeans. Btw, do we all actually know how many committees exist in the entire Singapore government. My point is, they exist to solve problems.

Secondly, the will was brought into question only because of the heritage site to be conserved (or demolished).

And the committee wanted to know the first PM's wishes probably. If the committee did not even refer to the will, the next thing we know is they will probably be hammered again for being disrespectful.

The impression that this chart gives to the regular observing crowd is, 幸灾乐祸,making fun of others' misfortunes.

What Singaporeans wants and deserve, are people who can solve problems.
Not imagining corruption, imagining abuse of power, so much creativity can be used to solve issues.

mai tok cok le. once pinky set up the commitee, his stand ish clear. he want to disobey his laopeh last wishes.

if he want to follow thru his laopeh wishes, he wouldnt even offer to sell the house to his siblings in the first place. he wouldve ordered the demolition. and his sister would be happy to relocate to somewhere else.

if he want to follow thru his laopeh wishes, who else in the govt dared to come up and ask him 'can i set up a commitee to block ur laopeh's will and preserve the site?'.

so ur points ish moot. only dumb sheep can believe such a scenario.

Firstly, stop lying and misleading others. Clearly you didnt even bother to read
- PMO statement
- PM Lee's statutory declaration
- Lee siblings fb posts with evidence to refute all accusations

It is a secret committee because the Lee siblings requested for information about the committee repeatedly for 1 year, but was denied. They even mentioned Lawrence Wong brush them off when they raised the point of conflict of interest of Shanmugam being on such a committee. Below is LHY's post on fb.

Lee Hsien Yang
DPM Teo has finally revealed the composition of the shadowy committee members. This was information that Wei Ling and I had asked for repeatedly from the outset for almost a year, and been denied. It is clear that a committee of one's subordinates, should not be sitting arbitrating an issue related to their boss. That is why the Committee is fundamentally flawed. As the subordinates of the PM, how can they possibly be in a position to deal in this private disagreement? This is the wrong forum.

We had expressed specific concerns on the possible membership of Shanmugam and his conflict of interest having advised Lee Kuan Yew and us on options to help achieve Lee Kuan Yew's wishes, and the drafting of the demolition wish. This represents a clear conflict of interest. When we raised this in writing, we were brushed off by Lawrence Wong with "Nothing you have stated precludes any member of the Cabinet from taking part in the Committee's work or its deliberations, with the exception of the Prime Minister." We found the refusal to identify the members of the committee, and to confirm Shanmugam's recusal particularly troubling as he is an experienced Senior Counsel and Minister for Law who should well understand the problem of conflicts of interests. Only now do we find out that he is indeed a member of this Committee.
Saturday at 6:02pm

Secondly, PM Lee himself said this is a Lee family private matter. Under what legal authority does the legislative branch (PAP Ministers) have to
- use state organs for a private matter?
- interfer with the judiciary branch? (court issued grant of probate)
- violate the principle of separation of powers in Singapore? To prevent abuse of power between legislative branch (PAP Ministers) and judiciary branch.

The PMO statement clearly stated that investigations started because of PM Lee's statutory declarations.
In the course of its work, the Committee received representations from Mr Lee Hsien Loong on various facts and circumstances in relation to how Mr Lee’s Last Will was prepared. The Committee has asked Dr Lee Wei Ling and Mr Lee Hsien Yang some further questions about how the Last Will was prepared, and the role that Mrs Lee Suet Fern and lawyers from her legal firm played in preparing the Last Will.
http://www.pmo.gov.sg/newsroom/state...and-dr-lee-wei

From PM Lee's statutory declarations (3,882 words), it is clear he was using the secret committee to challenge the validity of LKY's will. Point 37 specifically alleged that LKY was unaware of the demolition clause being inserted.

37. I continue to have grave concerns about the events surrounding the making of the Last Will. I am not aware of any facts which suggest that Mr Lee was informed or advised (by NJK, whom LSF claimed had handled the preparation of the Last Will, or any other lawyer) about all the changes that were made when he signed the Last Will, or that Mr Lee was properly advised about the contents of the Last Will. In fact, there is no evidence that Mr Lee even knew that the Demolition Clause had been re-inserted into the Last Will.
http://mothership.sg/2017/06/read-th...-in-full-here/

It is fundamental law of evidence, that he who alleges must prove. There is a proven will by probate. Whoever alleges otherwise has the burden of proof. So, LHL can go and prove that his father was a fool or senile when he signed the last will and codicil.

LHY has accussed PM Lee of
- lying to Parliament
- lying under oath
- abuse of power using state organs

The evidence brought forth by LHY comes directly from
- PM Lee's parliamentary statement
- PM Lee's statutory declaration to the secret committee

How can all the PAP Ministers and the government continue to keep mum about such serious allegations?

Former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong said before ministers that are defamed but do not sue, must leave cabinet.

"We have an understanding that if a minister is defamed and he does not sue, he must leave cabinet."

I think we should create a side role for outgoing prime ministers, to act as advisor to public service. So PMs will be less resistant to leadership transition, at the same time, allowing them to maintain some level of power to current administration.

If not, PM keep fighting tooth and nail to maintain his position when it is clear that he overstayed and is becoming more and more irrelevant to societal needs.

End of the day, the implication of all these saga only tells us that he is just trying to maintain his ricebowl, simple.

Well said, well said.
With the necessary references to back up the conclusions.
This is what a good factual post should be.

It's becoming clearer and clearer what the real deal about this is over the last few days.

Team "Demolish 38Oxley" Rest of Familee

vs

Team "Preserve 38 Oxley" Gahmen

The presence of the house and its occupants will show its final victors.

To make PM Lee say sorry takes a near collapse of voting support.

Damn smart sia. Even fixing the WP MPs forcing them to comment.

since LWL is a doctor, i think LHL have much difficulty in proving LKY is senile. LHL will have to force SMC to say things he want, i doubt he HAVE alot of doctor "friends".

LHL said he no longer own the house or is involved with oxley house, then why allow government be involved? the will of LKY is LKY's business. to be truly out of involvement, shouldn't he then step down as an officer of the state = totally zero government power then is considered NOT involved? so he is contradicting himself isnt he?

LHL is trying hard to detract the public focus on the formation of the committee and how LHL didn't stop them, who is the one approve this committee ? the entire Lee family agreed? or is HC the one that suggest this committee?

again, the thing truly monumental is LKY, not the house, i don't understand what LHL is doing to the country by flipping around the oxley house. however 3 things very prominent here ...
1) he doesn't respect LKY, so the monument act is surely a fake pretense of preserving monuments. eg : CENOTAPH is a monument, anybody see anything glorious done to actual monuments in singapore yet?
2) he isn't close to his own brother/sisters. since LHL can slap dhanabalan, i wonder how much he bully his own siblings.
3) it isnt even istana, why LHL make it a government issue? will hundreds of old building in SG get same treatment if LKY touch it before?

and by pulling the weight of the government around in the case, why doesnt LHL use his primeminister power to say, OK NOW GOVERNMENT ALSO DONT TOUCH THE HOUSE. why he still allow government to molest the case? if he can say he not involved, like he do to the mas selamat case, why dont he say to all the MP " YOU ALL SHUT UP and mIND your own business" ...
This summarises the whole situation very well
