The US has realised it.

Mass of abnn "working" there. They just realised how talented these leechers are and enforcing a clamp down on visas and work permits.

In my old company, they always send abnn talent to help us, when these experts come, instead of helping, they arrow locals to help them write reports to report back how "capable" they are...

All these Indian FT should be banned, the only job they can do well is CEO. Talk only, don't need to work.

India is a lousy country, dirty and mis-managed, just shows u how talented they are in talking and not working, that's why their country has heaps of rubbish on the streets.

So now, these talents will strive for singapore if they hv problems going to US. Good for PaP as they view them as better than locals.

Yah we believe chiu PM Lee.

GST to help the poor (immediately raise PAP Ministar salaries).

Raise worker wages = inflation.
Raise PAP Ministar salary = attract talent.

Minimum wage only for
- EP holders (MOM regulation min $3,600)
- PAP Ministars (pegged to Top 1000 earners, less 40% discount for public service)

Thise tissue paper sellers upgrade from just tissue paper sellers (which are in fact beggars really) to towkays!

Don't believe? See here: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapor...r-pilot-scheme
wahahahhahahaah!!!!selling tissue is now a business and a profession!!

After the participants pass a written and practical assessment, they will receive a free start-up inventory of 1,200 packets of tissue paper, as well as an ez-link card with a stored value of $88 to cover their travelling expense

To be fair, if the policies are not working, after over 10 years, Singapore should be full of problems now. So the PM is not wrong to say that.

For me, the benchmark will forever be the policies during the years of our Founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Those are the greatest times of SG which we don't see nowadays, but it is not the current Gov's fault, because a nation can only be developing once in its lifetime.

I came from a poor background, in which eating Mcdonald in those days is a luxury, and going to Orchard road is once a year. As a kid i use leftover calendar paper to do exercises.

But due to LKY's policies, and of course my hard work, i became a entrepreneur, and a person who can travel to many places, and even when i am starting to get mentally ill after grad, and finally jobless for 6 years, i can still buy a 2k+ laptop last year using my savings.

Things which I cannot imagine doing as a kid.

Some people expect Gov. policies to be very good but they forgot policies are not handouts, the hard work factor must still be in.
