Arsenal did beat Man City last weekend so let's start the season with high hope that this is the year. We can go one step further!

Boring weekends are finally over.

Good to have a new thread for the new season :)

Such a strange atmosphere. We appointed a new captain but he won't lead the team until second-quarter of the season.

I would like to see how our new boy Xhaka performs tonight as an individual player. Again we have been shown that money and luck isn't everything from yesterday's games.

Strangely, I am quietly confident about this season for Arsenal.
Really excited to start the season with a cracker against Klopp's Pool.

After return from injury also sit on the bench lah

Just like Arteta before him and TV b4 Arteta

Thinks that's the criteria to be Arsenal's captain laio.

Must be senior enough and willing to sit on the bench

Btw, Serge Gnabry scored again for Germany in the Olympics.

That's 6 goals in 4 matches.

Not a bad return for a winger in an international tournament.

Clearly player of the tournament ahead of Nyemar ot Gabrigol

Seems like we had only lost once to Liverpool at home in the past 20 seasons, in 1997-8

We ended up winning the PL that season though.
