for a club like liverpool its, our season has been a failure. we reach the final but failed to win the trophy. go into fa cup finals haolian similan jiao.
failure mainly because of the number of home wins.
it was single digit home wins at anfield out of 19.

not to mention 46 hits on the woodwork >.< the highest ever i think by any EPL club

to be frank. I have to say this season is still considered failure in terms of BPL performance
1) we failed to qualify for UCL
2) Finished lower than last season
3) worse, we may finish below our neighbour, Blueshi.te >.<
4) Lowest goals scored since start of BPL
5) Lowest conversation rate compared to other top 6 teams.
6) One of the lowest home wins since start of BPL

but overall we achieved a few successes:
1) We are slowly bleeding more youngsters into 1st team
2) In two domestic cup finals
3) Won Carling Cup
4) We are fielding younger players
5) Two long-term injuries throughout the season. Adam and Lucas. Which is unseen for a long time donkey years =P
6) No deadlogs (Except Adam and Downing =P)
7) Our Club debt has been greatly reduced and FIFA Fair-play ready
8) Secured a new sports kit sponsor and new kit design ^.^
9) Upcoming new stadium or upgrading, whichever is more economically sound

A good to read article... For sharing...

These 2 should be out!!!

However I beg to differ a bit; Henderson, Downing and Carroll had been performing these last few games so let's see for another season. For me, the 2 players should go are Spearing and Fatty Adam... Not the CMs we want and need.

Henderson played at CM quite (although not often) well, Henderson still could be polished into a gem. If Lucas can be playing well, Hendo could as well.

Downing, at times are lethal but sulk most of the time. However if he could instill the confindence, he would be good. For a start, let Downing have some decent (and serious) competition by allowing Stirling as his competitor for LW for buy another left winger to allow competition for the LW spot.

Carroll, well, at times he could be fustrated to watch and vent our anger but he is improving. So long he dont drink as much, he is a good footballer.

Next KD, in my humblest opinion, should stay, at least until before the start of next season to move up, not out. FSG should consider the DOF vacancy and given his status in football, the wide connections in football would do us good. In the meantime, FSG should be considering some quality coaches to replace the coaching team. As well as shortlisting candiate for the next propective manager.

RB, Fabio Capello and AVB all are hottest debated and rumoured to replace KD. RB, once a Reds manager knows the directions and will steer the ship well in the storm. At times he made frustrating decisions but then it meant well for the club. Fabio is an experienced and hardened coach/manager. He is known for criticising players openly and defending them openly. He could be the potential replacement but still I have reservation about him. AVB, outcasted by Chelski, would also be finding times hard at Anfield as he is just older than SG by 3 years and same age by Carragher. However, he does fit into FSG of young manager profile. But imo, he would not win the trust of players due to a very yound age.

for the past few seasons, our team was always whacked left, right, center by injuries and caused our team to run really thin.

and i think we are the only team in BPL to have such a low injury list throughout the entire season.
I can't imagine where we would be right now, if we have a few more injuries.

Have to pay great tribute to our medical team for keeping all our players fit.

the new stadium is really a pain in the arse... i read somewhere that Chelsea is gonna build a 60,000 seat NEW STADIUM >.< if our new owners don't quickly upgrade Anfield OR build a new stadium... Financially, Liverpool will fall behind even further...

50 million pounds have been spent on the designing drawing... Then its the share ground issue and then extension here extension there but no development so far?
