Hi all, can I check if most timepiece has sapphire crystal glass or just those above $1k SGD? I have tried looking for it but I cant find a definite answer.... My $600 hamilton has a sapphire crystal glass too. Wow this thread contains an extremely high level of potent poison <3

Let us do a calculation. For a 7750 movement watch, if we buy directly from Steinhart, it cost (656+30)X1.6X1.07 = S$1175. Amazon.com: Fortis Men's 597.20.71 L.01 Flieger Chronograph Automatic Day and Date Limited Edition Watch: Watches Hamilton - as usual undecorated. where did U find 60hrs of power res? 7750 usually ~42hrs. I don't think u get the number right here. Brand New Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Automatic Chronograph H32766513 | eBay Brand - Steinhart vs Hamilton vs Fortis. Fortis get my vote if it is 7750 usually Fortis no display back. Build is better use by russian in space maybe NASA iirc. Fortis Flieger Chronograph Limited Edition - 597 . 11 . 12 LC... for $*2,443 for sale from a Trusted Seller on Chrono24 read reviews on Fortis http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2...007_03_174.pdf |

In that case, in my opinion, only their Rolex look alike series watch is worth to buy. At least from far (more than a meter away), ppls can't recognize it is not a Rolex unless zoom in to see its Brand. No need to pay more than 10k for Rolex and it is not a replica either.
no joke here, they are just trying to discourage walk in customers. if they do without this group of ppl, they don't have to rent this store and have regular staff. |

Hi guyz!
I've been planning on getting myself a watch but am unsure of what to look for. Are there any brands that I should look out for with a budget of $150-$200++ Further details: I'm looking for a watch that has maybe a black or leather strap, and the watch is silver in colour. something like the one below ![]() got it off thewatchdistrict website |

That Hamilton uses a modified 7750 movement called H21, thus the longer reserve.

Well, if you wish to know, I bought the Damasko DA36 from Gnomon at S$1480 after "discount". This one I have no choice cos if buying from Damasko direct, the shipping alone cost $170. ![]() |

That Hamilton uses a modified 7750 movement called H21, thus the longer reserve. They were also using Nivashoc ( Nivarox-FAR shock protection system) used in Omega 8500 movement. Looks like Hamilton has done alot to improve 7750. H21 and H31. Three elements have been modified. - Reversed or Glittered Spiral - Longer Barrel - Modified Balance Bridge and Automatic Device Bridge Last edited by patryn33; 06-05-2012 at 10:55 PM.. |
