I have both Samsung and WD blue m.2 SSD. All seems ok. Price wise WD blue seems slightly cheaper

RMA experience for WD is superb. Touchwood never RMA Samsung before. So cannot comment on Samsung's RMA experience

My 1st Samsung SSD is faulty.
Visit to the service centre (not Samsung) with full package n receipt, then able to get 1 to 1 exchange.
No question as it is straight forward.

SATA vs NVMe?

Significant difference in price (unless you’re looking at something like Intel 600p/6000p).
