Easy lah, simply distinguish between apple green and pale apple green... close one eye and stare dead ahead if you have to so you are using your cones rather than your rods if you are looking at the pies with your head cock to one side. Remember not to stare too long or too hard though possibly incurring retina burns. Next rest your eye and open the other eye, simply distinguish between night blue and pale night blue... simply repeat above steps ad nauseum...

Results reliable or not? Lui Bin's much recommended shop does not even feature by name while the unnamed lumped altogether into Others garner only 5%.

yeah but it would be better if they put the figures right beside the name...but maybe that is asking too much...

No offend, poor colour selection

Not an easy task to undertake this job, a big thanks to the team.

Typo, should be Palit.

Sorry guys... looks like the more options we put in, the more complex the pie chart becomes.

hmmmm having a hard time reading it ... i have trouble seeing and identifying colors

We used to do that for the previous 2 years, but this time there were even more brands as everyone is branching out. The meant the pie chart had to be a way lot bigger to accommodate both the names and the outcome.

Hence we tried dropping the name next to it, but it looks like it's still a bit tough.

yeah but it would be better if they put the figures right beside the name...but maybe that is asking too much...

Thanks for pointing out bro!
We'll fix it first thing next week.

Perhaps we should probably consider even bigger pie charts to accommodate the increase in brands and for easier reading. We'll try that out too.

Thanks for the feedback everyone - we'll see if we can improve it on Monday.

True, it's an easy way out.

But from the nature of the subject, it's most appropriate to report them as pie charts. Something different from the usual bar charts that are already well used in all of the articles.

But thanks for chipping in!

Brands are important, can't run away from that. In marketing terms a brand represents a promise to a consumer of certain values that the brand stands for. Even now when you think Sony you think of quality right.

Of course, not all brands deserve their popularity or uphold their promises.
