For those who ordered Crucial M4 128GB or 256GB SSD, may I know if your drive is made in singapore or china?

I saw in reviews that it's made in Singapore, but my 128GB is made in China. That's a minor bummer as MIC don't really inspire quality produce :(
Doesn't matter. Made in China by the chinese, made in Singapore by chinese who came from China.

Thanks guys for your confirmation. Just installed Windows on the SSD and its speedy! Unfortunately i have slow internet connection(interim period) so it will take a couple days for the PC to be up to date with latest patches and drivers.

Faster but no TRIM, trade-off not worth it IMO. Your mileage may vary :)

AnandTech - The Crucial m4 (Micron C400) SSD Review
"It means that it's physically possible for the m4, if hammered with a particularly gruesome workload (or a mostly naughty workload for a longer period of time), to end up in a pretty poor performance state. I had the same complaint about the C300 if you'll remember from last year. If you're running an OS without TRIM support, then the m4 is a definite pass. Even with TRIM enabled and a sufficiently random workload, you'll want to skip the m4 as well.

I suspect for most desktop workloads this worst case scenario won't be a problem and with TRIM the drive's behavior over the long run should be kept in check. Crucial still seems to put off garbage collection longer than most SSDs I've played with, and I'm not sure that's necessarily the best decision."

i am aiming the 512gb SSD by September when my school term starts regardless of the price. cause i am using it for notebook and it would most probably only fit 1 internal storage.

according to cgw standard shipment time frame, its 6 to 8 working days

free shipment ships after 2 days.. reach in 1 to 2 days .. add in some buffer around 4 days?

so total for standard budget shipment, takes about 10 working days or more...

For Amazon Free local shipping, see which warehouse was your SSD dispatched from. If its from Seattle or other cities in Washington, it will only take a day because CGW Oregon is 3 hours south haha
