direct die cooling, too much risk imo

but then again, the temp gains will be something! let us know if you went ahead with it, I had mine delidded and used CLU. dropped my temps by an average of 17c. I wonder how well a direct cooling will compare

Guess hand tighten than machine tighten the cpu block thumbscrew

Its mobo dependent, but very likely the standard asetek AIO backplate will have some play/not tight with wriggle space. (googling common corsair AIO model, nzxt, evga clc etc + backplate loose all yield similar discussion)

Sho don't mistaken that its too lose and keep tightening, cause its an "asetek expected behaviour thing". For me (cuz there's IHS) I just push the block against the mobo after tighten thumbscrew before closing case window in case there's more than expected "sag".

wow nice. I was thinking of getting a HDMI KVM before but problematic I feel.
I wonder does it work with 1 display + HDMI switch or not.

yeah. appears so.

my dream got dashed again
my dream setup would be shared keyboard + Mouse + 1 display.
then use shortcut to switch display.

the software KVM works more liked having the displays side by side.

guess KVM really is the solution for me.

Mine monitor is Samsung CF791, Support Two Display Input.
I am seeing the monitor industry moving towards two display input.

Dell and Philips have 1 model with this feature and got higher end monitor with Quad Screen.

I seen fuwell selling this.

http://www.philips.com.sg/c-p/BDM435...hd-lcd-display

Nice. Is it laggy compared to hardware KVM?
https://symless.com/synergy, mine PC on LAN while my Mac is on Wifi.
Surprisingly it's really very smooth and symless.

Problem with Hardware KVM introduce a lot of cables, unless you are in a secured environment, software KM is better.
