Hi guys,

I'm looking to build a new rig, but still learning the ropes. So wondering if a Palit GTX 1060 SJS will be compatible with a ASROCK H81M-HDS motherboard. Cause the GPU specifications say bus support for PCIE 3.0 x16, while the motherboard I'm looking at only has PCIE 2.0 x16 slots.

Want to ask if the GPU will actually run on this motherboard and what would be the performance difference compared to PCIE 3.0? Below is also the build I am planning, if any of the bros here can give advise. Budget is around 1.3k, MAX 1.4k, gaming mostly on 1080p and some media development and light rendering once in awhile. Thank you in advance for the opinions!

current gpu still cant utilize x16 lane so its still ok. iirc techpowerup have tested it b4 they say not much differences, beside that there is another call some tech hardware or something like that, they do came out with the same result (not exactly as as TPU) but rough there.
