Using an old 890Fx mobo too. Hope it can support vishera. Eyeing the fx6300, hope the price is good when it comes to sg, else ill consider going intel...
Nid to ask amd local branch about this liao..the local amd fx chip prices are way over priced compared to the states (almost 15% more after conversion from usd; worse still the chips are made in Malaysia, so shipping cheaper... )
intel prices oddly enough are not as bad compared to the retail prices in states
Current newegg prices are already price-marked up from amd srp prices because of demand and low supply.
if they wish to make any impact on local market, they will have to release at current FX 8120/ 8150 prices...
not certain abt other bros but i wouldnt buy at 250-260 (8320) or 310-320 (8350)
the intel competitors are actually cheaper!
=> I5-3470 = 232 (tradepac)
=> I5-3570k = 282 (tradepac)
This listing reflects pricing for direct AMD customers in 1000-unit tray quantities, except when designated as PIB quantities.

I've been calling tigerdirect (burlington) and they say they have them online but theyre always sold out and they dont even have any in stock in the store... canada computers doesnt have them online or in store either!?!?! I'm in hamilton here and I want an 8350 reallllllly bad
frithy said:Must be a great chip, sold out at Newegg, Tigerdirect, NCIX, etc... only place still carrying is Memory Express, but they're out in the prairies lol
Can't wait for Newegg to restock so I can finally make my build
Yes a FX-8320 on an Asus M4A89TD Pro. I installed Windows 7 and the drivers just fine.
laser got 6300 leh but i dont see 8350 around yet.. delay delay
Serious? Pricing bro?
Its 261 minus with asus mb la... Should be 180 non bundled price. Good thing the price is like the precious gen. Hopefully the 8320 will be priced at current fx 8120 price. Like this hoot la
The FX-6300 is the current darling of AMD’s Vishera lineup since it retains a good portion of the FX-8350’s multi threaded performance while allowing purchasers to save over $60.
