blu-ray writer recommendation?

What is a recommended blu-ray writer to buy (internal is ok)? Priority is reliable and burned discs able to read on many players. Also any good place to get (Singapore or online)? Thanks.

i juz imported two blu-ray burners, lg and pioneer. they both play dvds and vcds fine. dug out a japanese vcd boxset i bought a long time ago. haven't started burning disc yet. waiting for order to arrive. why import? need certain cables and the order came with them. plus cheaper. and pioneer can't find locally. 340 sing for both burners.

I've been to this site. Thugh this website looks simple, but it shows the best selling blu-ray players and recorders. Do visit this site and go under TV and Home Studio.

Anw, I bought LG BD670 3D Wireless Network Blu-ray Disc Player. I chose this model because it had streaming. The wireless connection seems to be much more stable

I thought Amazon doesn't ship BD-R to Singapore. How do you do the shipping?

Also I am looking for 50G BD-R DL which is still expensive. Does LTH has compatibility problem?

i shipped both my bluray writer and BD-R via comgateway...

as for LTH... i read in wiki Blu-ray Disc recordable - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that old bluray players and recorders cannot utilize LTH but firmware upgrade can enable these devices to access LTH discs... so i guess it might have problems with some drives if u dun have a way to upgrade the firmware to support it...

as for me... the only way i can read BD discs now is with my BD-writer... cos i dun have any other players... so of cos no issues for me...

wacky
