Then you don't even need a mid range card. HD6450, GT620 below $100.

Yes, it can. Though curious why you want to do so?

Hi,
Thanks for reply. Thought to install for the kid for WOT game, as current in-built Gpu8200 @ very low setting. But the casing dimension @ 13.5"X11"X4" and seem\ low profile GPU card cannot go in.

Why not go for HD7750? It fits in your PSU's power envelope and is a low profile single slot card. It's much better than gt630.

New Rig

Hi guys, can anyone recommend me a rig that's good for gaming, movies and multi-tasking. Also i really hate lags, any good ways to avoid experiencing it as much as possible?

My budget is up to SGD1500

Cheers!

Hi bros, I wanna ask. I am stuck with a damn old graphics driver for my HD5850. I am on ver 8.950.0.0. Is there a need for me to update my drivers? Or which driver should I update to, the latest?

I am assuming u mean Network Lags. This 1 u really need Fibre-optics...other than that, make sure u are on wired connection and not wireless.

btw rig wise, ur 1500 budget what do u need? OS? Monitor? Keyboard Mouse?

if 1500 is just for the rig, u can get a very decent system (might not even need 1500)

As in, would there be a noticeable increase in performance/fps? I assumed that the newer drivers are optimised for the newer cards, but not for the older ones.

Saw this Leadtek gtx 680 going at $580.

Is leadtek any good? Sorry not very sure about if it's a good deal, hardly heard of leadtek before.

3 years warranty IIRC. That card is probably a reference GTX680 and yes it's a good deal. About 40-50 less than market price. You wouldn't have to worry about reference cards.
