Hi fellow bros. I'm considering to upgrade my msi 7850 to Zotac 1060 3gb mini and I'm wondering will my cpu cause any bottleneck and is my PSU sufficient? (Specs on the right)

Thank you!

i would say worth it. some more with discount code u can still futher reduce the price.
applied the $30 scb coupon, end up its like $129 for it. but i bought zotac from qoo10, applied $50 coupon with other purchase about $137. its like paying another $8 for the 2 years added warranty for zotac hehe.

thanks for your opinion :p

Paid $600 for 3 years, 1 year - $200, 1 month - $16.67. Ok what, quite reasonable. AT least it didnt die in the middle and forced you to get new gpu.

U expecting it to last 10 years? :s13::s13:

Hi All,
Looking to get a new graphic card for my Samsung KU6300 (4K TV). Looking for a cheap overseas or local deal for a reliable 1070 gtx (brand/model) that will last me 2~3 years.

I currently have a Zotac Omega Amp 970, which is currently at RMA after 2 years.
My 970, did not have problems till I got a 4K TV and forced it to work harder. Now it randomly crashes randomly at any load. Tech Dynamic email support is really helpful, but their onsite was not really helpful as he was able to boot and stress test the card for a few minutes without issue on his standard monitor.

I sick of Tech Support questioning me when card does not straight away crash on them. (I got a job, going to RMA is too much of a hassle to fake it....)

The 1060 they loaned me now is working super fine without any issues at any load (so it has to be my 970).

Anyways I did the maths and warranty does not look really worth it. If I get a new local 1070 now and sell my 970, I will maybe spend maybe 100SGD less then if I got a gfx from Amazon and threw my old 970. And that is with tons and tons of hassle, and time involved.

As such, I think it is better to just throw away my old gfx after it spoils after 2 years is more convenient. Ability to send it to Taiwan to USA and RMA and then sell it (all from my home) is just icing.

So which card and where is the best deal now to get for 1070 cards that will reliably last me 2+ years? At about 600~700SGD? Is EVGA good/reliable, I heard can RMA to Taiwan?

yes if you buying from AMAZON, only EVGA is the one u can consider. because of rma and support from them.

depends on you for which verison but i think you can just grab their basic model can already.

next for your 970 how long was the warranty? and did u ext it as well?

Hi All,

Looking to get a new graphic card for current build (almost 4 yrs). As my current graphic card has already die. (HIS Radeon HD7850 (2GB GDDR5)

My intention for this graphic card is to last 2-3 yrs since my build will be almost 8yrs from there..:o

May I know based on the current graphic card I am holding - what's the price range I am looking at?

My budget wise is @ $200~250, mainly using as doing ID works (Rendering / Modeling) and gaming. (Currently due to 'Division' that put my graphic to bed)

Also does my USP good enough to get it running?

May i know whether Radeon are not as good as before? Since people are talking about NVIDIA often.

Apologize i got tons of questions..as this build was not done by me so I have some inquires.

so u mean that how much does your old gpu cost currently or the last time u bought?

as for your budget most likely can get RX 470/GTX 1050 ti, unless u can get good discount den maybe gtx 1060 3GB or rx 480 4GB might hit your budget.

USP - what is it? what it does?

radeon is getting better now, trying to beat nvidia perf/watts. nvidia now their gpu is kinda OC out of the box and u cant OC much as well.

Hi thanks for the reply. Ic, in this case i will look into the mentioned series.

UPS - I mean the power that i had. (620W) based on my current setup - it shouldn't have any problem right?

Ic, so bascially i can get radeon - RX 470 / 480 series? As previously i am using radeon as well.

Yes, i mean based on my current gpu - what's the cost currently. So at least i know my budget is right.

Thanks
