That's 21.99 after stock clearing discount because nobody wants 450w bronze units unless you are building average power office PCs with no gaming gpu

Most probably 1080ti, based on his specs at right..

But this will be great in reducing overall price should one wants to build a basic PC even with 1050 for basic gaming and work.

450W is still plenty of power for most folks though. I believe it can support up to a GTX 1060 which most people game on.

With TDP for CPU and GPU always dropping, why the need for higher power PSUs? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

From personal experience

A GTX1060 + an I7-4790 on a mobo with 2 ram sticks hdd and ssd can be easily supported by a 230W Brick

the rebate cards not always work ....
it's suppose to fill in a form and mail it , then wait for a cheque to come ... but these brands often don't complete the loop

I never really tried doing this rebate thing so far. I rather they give me a discount immediately because the rebate is expected to come in some kind of stored value card.
