Is there any software to monitor a PSU as it ages, efficiency reduces, noise and ripple increase or become less stable? So that there's ample early warning to get it replaced before it goes kaboom and fries everything up.

There's HWMonitor and CoreTemp for temperature.

For HDD there's SMART and CrystalDiskInfo, for RAM there's memtest, for HDD there's HDDTune, CPU there's Prime95 and Super Pi, and graphics card there's 3DMark and Furmark.

Afaik, there's none. Can share if there's any?

Unstable output and increasing ripple are signs of impending power supply failure. You need an oscilloscope to do the monitoring. No home user will buy one just to monitor the power supply.
