Great choice.

Was torn between this and IPS panel but went for Ips eventually.
Just curious - what did you go for?

Spoiler!
Confirm if setup G-sync correctly will look way smoother. You will have better frametime which essentially means less frame spikes.

Which is why you have a mid to high end Nvidia card, honestly get G-sync. Many tried and said it was nothing great then when they went to a non G-sync monitor, they felt and saw a difference. Don't think twice.

Hmm... Mind sharing how much you got it for? Maybe I'll hang out for a deal. Can PM me if inconvenient to share publicly.

Close to $900. Quite cheap imo. Note, if your criteria is 144hz, x34a will not meet the cut. It is s 100Hz monitor only.

I'm quite tempted by that but at the same time... the possibility of getting a x34a in the future at $900+ hmm...

Btw I'm running i7 6700k, with the GTX 1070. Shouldn't be an issue for a ultrawide 1440p 100hz monitor right?

Wouldn't. I am using it together with a intel Hd graphics...

Your GPU is much more powerful than mine.

Better buy first regret later. Plus it is from Acer official store. U will definitely have a piece of mind.

Especially z35p is 100Hz - 120Hz really no brainer deal.

1168-50-120 = 998 (excluding qpoints, gc and shopback) discounts.

998 - 30(gc) - 5(qpoints)

It is definitely a steal i feel.

You should be able to run comfortably 1440p ultrawide 100hz. On max settings for me for graphics in games, I see around 100-120fps in games. 1070 should be around 70-95fps thereabout. No need to worry if you have Gsync. Silky smooth.
