Yep frm the lousy bad TIM they used... Apparently some folks after prying open and replace the TIM, somehow some folks ended up with a temp worse off before they started. Guess really a 50-50 chance if u want to try lol

idle for me is 28 to low 30's. load is low 50's
Im using H100 with its performance set to lowest.

i got a 2nd 3770k and paired it with Asus Z77-Pro-M - it's either a lemon or the Asus Motherboard not as good as Asrock for overclocking - can't even get x43 multiplier with it even at nearly 1.3v
My 3770k with Asrock, I get x43 no problem with 1.18v. |
