Guys. Sorry to trouble the experts here. Anyone tried to connect Vstarcam ipcam, C7824WIP with a Synology NAS DS214play? When i add camera using surveillance station 8.1, I am able to see the camera details (Ip address etc). However, when i click on the test connection, it failed.
Do I need to do something else?

what is the correct way to mount an ipcamera ? The bracket is screwed on the wall, the ip camera should be standing up on the bracket or be inverted ? referring to the sineoji PT528V

can sineoji cam be shared to multiple devices?? meaning 2 - 3 fam member can view the live ip cam on the phone/pc anywhere.

My main worry is, lets say im oversea long term and the cam somehow got disconnected. will my 1 fam member at home be able to reconnect the ip cam so that i can view it again in oversea all the while?? thanks

I installed the PT528V and it can Set-up on 4 Smartphones (android/iPhone) also can use web interfaced version the cam won't be disconnected as long as your router and your cam didn't turn off, it's really a good iP Cam! very fast response time.

I just bought the Sineoji PT528V last Friday.

I am testing if any videos were recorded during last weekend.
Can anybody advise me how do I access the recorded videos from my handphone using the Sineoji app ?

TIA

Hi guys, am looking for an ip camera for my pets and also for front door.

Was looking at YI cameras but then some reviewers stated got privacy concerns as they collect unnecessary data.

Is there any budget camera which does only what its supposed to, without wholesale collection of data? Only requirement is I just need it to be streamable over net.

Sineoji PT498V imo is good enough, $79 which is a good buy.

I have a friend using this to monitor her rabbit

You have to turn on the recording in the Sineoji app. Tap the little i symbol on the main page on the app, go to sdcard.. check the capacity of sdcard shown.

Turn on the recording time schedule. Save it.

After 30 minutes, check the recorded clips. Tap the multimedia button on the main page of the app. Select remote. Select your cam.

If you are using iPhone, do not not change the date range. Click search. Clips will be displayed below . Tap it to view the clips
