Due to our climate here, it does oxidise sadly but does not affect the sonics of the cable.

it just surprised me coz i tot it only happens in silver cables was using the black version previously~

Cos it's transparent and the black one is not obvious. My ALO SXC 18awg LOD after some time of usage also oxidises but 22awg OCC IEM cable strangely does not. Perhaps it's also the material too.

Thanks to all who sent me a copy of your invoices!

Looking through all of them, this is my findings:

1) Reshell price is $240 before discounts for those who reshelled this year, late 2010 reshell price was $220 before discounts.

2)Artwork is $30 before discounts.

3)Lune cable upgrades do exist at $30 before discounts for this year, late 2010 was $40 before discount

4)Discounts vary from $0 to as much as $60.

5)Seems like the more add-ons (artwork,Lune,etc) you do, the less discounts you get?

That's all I can conclude from whatever I have on hand. Keep those invoices coming in guys!

Best if LordZepyher9 forwards me the email Kevin sent to him regarding the price of the group reshell. Then probably can clamp him down on that, but for now based on the invoices, the discounts are all random. Can't come to a conculsion at all for now...

hey guys so currently null audio reshell is the cheapest if u need a cable?
i dont wan the lune cable, i wan the arete cables instead. if i opt for arete will it be cheaper?

and i have seen quite a no of pics of reshelled tf 10s online... it seems that UM / heir reshells seems to look nicer and of better materials, altho much more expensive as well

is it true?

my stock tf10 cable is dying, fast.
stereo is out of stock for westone cables
its the same for fiio ue-rc

so i m thinking of reshelling with null audio + lune cable option
mayb i ll sell the cable off for 120 and get a arete

what do you guys think?

I dunno abt Heir Audio reshells but mine is from UM and so far so gd on their fitting and reshell quality.

if you have read, i suggest you go for UM for reshelling. dun go just because it is cheap. the after service, as you can tell, is bad.

yea but prob is i need the cable as well and frankly under 300 for reshell and cable is really attractive...

yea i did.... seems its either sold or withdrawn....

its juz that i m leaning towards the seemingly value for money null audio deal for now...

nothings cfm.... probably do a bit more reading and more opinions before deciding...

Won't the refit period end by then? Btw can we change the colour of the acrylic?
